Transit – With a transit stop just 3,000 feet away, Denver Connection benefits from fast access to the East Rail line. This line is a 22.8-mile commuter rail transit corridor that will connect downtown Denver Union Station and DIA.  The rail line will also serve adjacent employment centers, neighborhoods and development areas in Denver and Aurora. Space Defense – Located just 10 minutes from Buckley Air Force Base, the area benefits from a strong aerospace and defense industry presence, a crucial component of Colorado’s technology economy. Colorado’s geographical location provides one-bounce satellite communications to Europe and Asia, and due to our Mountain Time Zone, Colorado companies can efficiently conduct business with both continents during the same business day. Raytheon Company, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin and The Boeing Company all have major operations near Buckley Air Force Base.

Health Sciences – Five minutes from Denver Connection, Aurora’s Fitzsimons Health Sciences Center is a key component of Colorado’s bioscience industry. The Anschutz Medical Campus and Fitzsimons Life Science District redevelopment project consists of one square mile undergoing a $5.2 billion transformation at the northwest corner of I-225 and Colfax Avenue. The site, which currently employees approximately 20,000, is home to the University of Colorado Denver health sciences operations, the University of Colorado Hospital, Children’s Hospital Colorado, the new Veterans Administration Hospital, and several other centers for healthcare, biomedical research and workforce development.

Entertainment – Immediately to the west, Denver boasts the world’s largest and most state-of-the-art sports and entertainment complex, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park which includes a professional stadium and fields. Dick’s Sporting Goods Park hosts camps, clinics, national tournaments and international events throughout the year. The complex also serves as the home of the Colorado Rapids Soccer Academy and the Arsenal Center of Excellence. The stadium will host the 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championships.

Wildlife – Located just northwest of the site, the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge is a 15,000-acre prairie, wetland and woodland habitat. The land has a unique story – it has survived the test of time and transitioned from farmland, to war-time manufacturing site, to wildlife sanctuary. It may be one of the finest conservation success stories in history and a place where wildlife thrives.
